Moss Adams was contracted by the NM Spaceport Authority to provide a comprehensive economic impact analysis of Spaceport America in the context of the evolving commercial space industry.
It involved both an analysis of current impacts and a growth forecast. Moss Adams performed analysis through interviews with Spaceport America customers, staff, and community stakeholders.
The economic team reviewed data from New Mexico financial statements, space industry studies, and statistical databases. Using this information, the team developed a forecast with a baseline or “most likely” scenario, as well as a pessimistic and optimistic scenario.
These scenarios represent a reasonable range of possible future economic impacts of Spaceport America based on “best available information.”
